Staff from the Turkish Standards Institute recently completed parts 1-3 of the ISO 14064 GHG & Carbon Emissions training courses. The courses took place in Ankara, Turkey, and were given by Carbon Action Environmental Director Mr. Fergal Mee.
These training courses deal specifically with carbon measurement, including GHG inventories, GHG projects and GHG management, thereby helping to reduce the environmental impact of organisations. Attendees at these courses learned how to reduce their organisations carbon footprint as well as receiving a good grounding in Greenhouse Gas Projects using ISO 16064-2.
These courses undertaken by the Turkish Standards Institute were developed by the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) and were delivered by Carbon Action. All attendees on the training course completed a GHG verification exam which will lead on to a Canadian Standards Association certificate.
