CSRD-EU / Taxonomy Reporting

  • The EU Taxonomy is a classification system adopted by the EU, to identify sustainable activities and investments. There are six key areas to the taxonomy, each reflecting various areas of sustainability. Carbon Action advises clients interested in demonstrating taxonomy compliance – the benefits of which are typically, access to low-cost green funding for qualified projects. CSRD, or the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive, is a new legal reporting framework that will be effective in the EU starting from Q1 2024. Critically, CSRD places sustainability reporting on par with financial reporting, in that all statements made must be externally verified. Such a development raises the level of mandatory disclosures of actual company performance. Implementation of CSRD brings transparency and accountability for companies making sustainability claims. The key benefits this service will add to your organisation:• Streamlined Reporting: Seamlessly integrate CSRD activities with existing ESG and GHG reporting processes.

Time and Cost Efficiency: Leverage the same established legal framework for reporting, reducing both time and resource investment.

Data Centralization: Ensure that all CSRD-related work is stored securely within a singular ESG-metrics database.

Compliance Assurance: Stay compliant with the Eurozone’s CSRD reporting obligations, aligning with investor expectations.

Holistic ESG Evaluation: Facilitate an all-encompassing assessment of your organization’s ESG performance, enhancing transparency and accountability.
