Carbon Action also helps clients with their EU-ETS obligations including permitting, emissions reporting, and union registry obligations.
The latest partnership with CoZero and Enviroworks strengthens Carbon Actions position in an ever-growing and competitive market. South Africa ranks 10th among the world’s largest carbon emitters and the announcement to implement a carbon tax in January 2015 by South African Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan signals a significant step in the right direction in trying to combat the South African carbon footprint.
The South African government had recognised the critical link between long-term environmental sustainability and economic development. This inspires hope that South Africa will experience better resource management and also deal with negative environmental impacts from certain types of economic activity going forwardm which, if not dealt with, will come at a massive cost to the economy.
Carbon Action, together with Enviroworks and CoZero, now have a service offering to help organisation across the UK and South Africa to address climate change, carbon emissions and to become more sustainable and responsible corporate citizens.
