Carbon Action will be speaking in London on October 23rd 2012. There are four key seminars at this year’s event – Energy Efficiency, Carbon Investment and Finance, Carbon Management, and Green Tech. The Carbon Management Seminar has been developed to enable delegates to understand how carbon and energy legislation affects their business.  Carbon Action will share their insights on  the  tools and methodologies available to assist in the preparation and management of their GHG inventories. A key piece of legislation most pertinent in the UK is the mandatory carbon reporting for all LSE listed companies.

Carbon Action will discuss how ISO 14064 provides a common basis for greenhouse gas accounting that can easily be implemented by LSE listed companies to produce their mandatory carbon report.  This methodology is globally recognised and is based on GAAP thus making it very appropriate for the mandatory reporting as ISO follows the themes and formats of financial reporting.

In the main hall we will also be exhibiting to give you the opportunity to come and speak to our staff about our training and GHG services.

The show highlights the continuing need for businesses to put in place effective carbon mitigation strategies in order to increase the transition to a low carbon economy. The Carbon Show is the leading annual event on energy efficiency and the low carbon economy. Organised in partnership with the Carbon Trust and The ENDS Report, the event is a must-attend for sustainability professionals from industry, government, energy and finance who are working to increase energy efficiency and meet UK and European GHG emissions targets.

Carbon Action is the Education and Training Provider of the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP)
